Let's just say, that I've had some pretty interesting adventures just trying to get around here in West Africa. These pictures give you just a small idea of what we see and go through in our travels...
The Africa Mercy is the world's largest non-governmental hospital ship, which offers free surgeries and medical help to those who may not have had the chance otherwise. If you would like to read more about this organization, click here.
I always find it hard to know what to say in these little boxes. I sit here and wonder, "what do they want to know?".
I was born and raised in the beautiful islands of Hawai'i. After I graduated from high school, I moved to Canada, and have been here ever since.
I am a pharmacist...but, more importantly, I am heading out on what I think is going to be an adventure of a lifetime...
In January 2010, I will be volunteering on a medical mission for 6 months with an organization called Mercy Ships...
